Do I need a referral to Dr. Walker?

If you are a member of an HMO or POS plan, Medicaid or PeachCare, we will need a referral prior to your visit. We ask that the patient contact their primary care physician prior to visiting our office to obtain this authorization.

Do you accept my insurance?

It is in the patient’s best interest to check with their insurance company prior to their visit.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

We strive to accommodate the patient’s need as quickly as possible, but being a specialist, this may range from 1-2 weeks depending upon the nature of the problem and/or symptoms.


How do I contact Dr. Walker in case of an emergency?

Should you require care after hours, please call our office at
(478) 971.2500 and follow the instructions for emergency care, and Dr. Walker or Ms. Ford will return your call in a timely fashion.

Where are you located?

We are located at 300 South Houston Lake Road approximately 1/2 mile from the intersection of Watson Boulevard/247 Connector and Houston Lake Road. We are located next to SunMark Community Bank on the east side of the road.

What are your appointment hours?

Dr. Walker sees patients on Monday afternoons
(2-5), all day Tuesday & Thursday (9-5) and Friday mornings (8:30-12:00).
